We acquired a vacant office building and converted this space into ten self-contained apartments. The existing floorplates offered generous ceiling heights and deep window runs, so the design team focused on opening up the layout, maximising daylight and introducing efficient circulation. Former meeting rooms and corridors were stripped back to shell, allowing new partition walls to define bright, open-plan living areas that meet modern fire and acoustic standards.
Mechanical and electrical systems were replaced in full, with new wiring, plumbing and energy-efficient heating sized specifically for residential use. High end kitchens and bathrooms were installed to ensure a consistent finish across all units, while durable timber-effect flooring and neutral décor give incoming tenants a clean slate for furnishing.
The completed scheme now provides ten contemporary apartments that answer local demand for well-located, low-maintenance homes—turning a redundant workplace into a sustainable, income-producing asset for the long term.
