The brief called for more space and a higher-spec finish, so we began by adding a 120 square-metre rear extension that now serves as the home’s central gathering point. A ten-metre stone island anchors the open-plan kitchen, while in-built ceiling speakers, large-format porcelain tiles and a hidden utility/pantry room keep the kitchen both refined and practical.

Behind the scenes we completed a full rewire, replaced every window with thermally efficient aluminium double glazing and installed two new bathrooms finished in premium brassware and porcelain. Bedrooms received luxury wool carpeting, and the entire house was redecorated in a calm, neutral palette ready for long-term durability.

The original garage was repurposed as an annex, giving the property a self-contained living space with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a compact kitchenette. Whether used for multi-generational living, visiting guests or supplementary rental income, the annex adds flexibility that will serve the owners for years to come.
