We refurbished a vacant five-storey office block and secured consent to convert it into twenty-eight one- and two-bedroom apartments. The existing concrete frame offered generous floor-to-ceiling heights, so our design focused on efficient re-planning—removing obsolete partitions, introducing natural light along deeper floorplates, and routing new cores to meet current fire and acoustic standards. We added a two-storey steel-framed extension on the roof.
Throughout the block we installed new services, energy-efficient glazing and high-spec internal finishes—integrated kitchens, porcelain bathrooms and durable engineered floors—ready for professional tenants or open-market sale. The finished scheme turns an under-used commercial asset into twenty-eight contemporary homes, providing resilient rental income and long-term capital growth in a supply-constrained location.
